Dundee United V Celtic - Match Preview

Last updated : 29 March 2007 By Clydebuilt
Well its off to Dundee on Saturday with Celtic needing a win to keep the momentum going and to ensure a title winning party at Rugby park for the
Second time in 5 years.

After losing the last 2 games it is time for the squad and WGS to consolidate our position as Champions elect and for us to continue on "putting Rangers in their place" (copyright Sutton 2000)

So what should the starting line up be? With Magic, Caldwell and Kennedy all ready to return to top team action is it time for a shake up or should the gaffer be loyal to the charges who have got us into and maintained this enviable and lofty position?

I believe that Kennedy should be held back until the league is won. I wouldn't want to see him having to throw himself into any goal saving challenges!

So Elvis and McManus with Naylor and Telfer/Wilson is a safe bet.

The midfield I am sure will take on a familiar shape with Lennon alongside either Gravesen or Hartley. McGeady and Naka should take up the flanking positions unless the latter is rested after his 7000 round trip to play for Japan.

Up front? that's one to be debated in the forums methinks, too many variables to call! Sittingonthefencecsc!

Yours in Celtic
