Derby Day for Reserves. Tell your boss your ill and make your way to Cumbernauld!

Celtic reserves today line up against their Rangers counterparts this afternoon at Broadwood.

This latest derby encounter has been eagerly anticipated, with Willie McStay’s men suffering from a succession of postponements which have seen them play just four league games this season.

Their present record stands at two wins and two defeats, with Rangers one point ahead in the table with two wins; two defeats and one draw from their five matches.

The game kicks off at 2pm at Clyde’s Broadwood Stadium, with the game classed as an away match for Celtic. As always, supporters are urged to go along and give the defending Reserve League champions their backing.

In other news today, a less than reputable football site is reporting that AC Milan are interested in taking Massimo Donati back to the San Siro. This story has all the credence of the many tall tales regarding Nakamura, Boruc and every other important Celtic player

Yours in Celtic reserves
