Former Celtic chairman Jack McGinn is set to take legal action against former Celtic player Mo Johnson.

McGinn, now President of the SFA is said to be furious at comments made by Johnson in the BBC1 programme Footballers Lives.

McGinn said: "I have instructed a lawyer to contact BBC Scotland with a view to asking them to amend their broadcast material immediately or face legal action."

"There is no doubt that documents prove that Maurice Johnston's version of events is completely untrue.
"I have no wish to open old sores, but I will not sit passively and have my integrity questioned."

McGinn, of course, was one of the “Custodians” of Celtic who took them to within a couple of hours of bankruptcy in 1994.
