Mark Crosas has today been the subject of transfer talk after he admitted that he would consider his options should Malaga table a bid to take the Midfielder on loan till the end of the season.

The midfielder, who has formed a formidable partnership with Landry N’Guemo in the Celtic engine room appears to be firmly in the managers plans and has no burning desire to return to Spain any time soon.

I am not planning an exit but if they [Malaga] call me and agree with Celtic, it is clear that Malaga is a good option,” Crosas told El Malaga. “If there is there is a strong interest and they call me, of course I will think about it.

“It is the goal of any Spanish player to return to Spain and succeed. If Celtic, Malaga and I can agree, I think it would be interesting for everyone.”

“I don’t know if Celtic would let me go,” he added. There are injuries and I am playing, so it would be difficult.”

In other Celtic news, new signing Morten Ra-Ra Rasmussen has revealed his delight at securing a move to Celtic, however the deal is not finished yet after Celtic have requested a strict medical in order to ensure that a knee injury the player picked up four years ago will not become a problem.

"This is a dream I have had for a long time," said Rasmussen on Sunday. "It is a step up for me, if it becomes a reality. I expect a clarification on Monday, but now I am going home to Denmark with the rest of the league team.

"I have not even negotiated my personal things, but if the other things go in order, then I guess this also will. And I would really want it to go in order."

Having begun his career at AGF Aarhus, Rasmussen got his big move to Brondby in 2006. The then Danish champions paid £1.2 million for his signature and were rewarded with consistent goal scoring form after the player overcame early injuries. In 111 appearances for Brondby, he has scored 52 times.

Rasmussen also has a fine pedigree at international level, having played for Denmark at all levels. The striker has a ratio of just under a goal every two games at youth levels and has made the breakthrough into the full international squad in the last year, earning three caps to date.

He is chasing a place in Denmark’s World Cup squad, with his national coach Morten Olsen admitting that a move to Celtic and a run of good goalscoring form could guarantee his spot in South Africa.

Yours in Celtic
