Crosas Hopes for Thrill Day at Ibrox

Last updated : 28 April 2009 By Clydebuilt
Marc Crosas staked a claim for a place against Rangers at Ibrox in the up coming game by stating that, in his opinion, the standard of football in recent league derbies has been sorely lacking

Crosas said: The ambience and the atmosphere are hard to beat. The only weak point is the level of football.

"I feel the performance in almost ever derby is pretty poor, considering we are supposed to be the two best teams in Scotland. These games leave a lot to be desired and there's too much respect involved.

"Against other clubs we play too much football but when it comes to the derby, things are a little disappointing.

"If the level of football would improve, no derby in the world could compete with the Glasgow one."

Whilst it is hard to disagree with what Crosas is saying, one has to question why he has allowed himself to be drawn to comment on any game other than the upcoming game against Aberdeen.?
