Crosas - "Football does not finish for me because I will leave Barcelona."

Celtics soon-to-be-new signing Marc Crosas has today spoken of his move from Barcelona. In a statement in which Crosas comments on his willingness to look for first team football Marc displays a hunger that has undertones of the player feeling that he has something to prove. This can only be an asset to Celtic. Getting players in who have something to prove means that they require no motivation whatsoever to go out on the field and be a success. Christ Martin O' Neill built the most successful Celtic squad in years on that principle when he brought in players who had been shunned previously or had a hard time at their previous clubs.

Crosas said: "Football does not finish for me because I will leave Barcelona.

"I have reached a certain stage in my career where I realise they will not have me. In the world of football it is necessary to be intelligent and to see that many players don't get a chance.

"I have not had the opportunities to demonstrate if I have the qualities to be at Barcelona or not.

"You always think about arriving and making it into the first team but not everyone can do that. It is clear to me that football will not finish. The time had come to leave and Celtic wanted me."

Well said Marc, we hope to see you getting paraded in the Hoops sooner rather than later!

Yours in Celtic
