Croatian Gattuso Snubs Celts for Kiev and Naka Going Nowhere.

Celtic have lost out on their bid to sign Croatian powerhouse midfielder Ognjen Vukojevic for next seasons defence of the SPL crown. The highly rated central player has elected to join Dynamo Kiev in a deal reported to be around the 6M mark.

Vukojevic's agent Danko Dikic said: "Everything has been confirmed and agreed with Kiev and the player."

Ohh well! Back to the drawing board then Gordon.

In other news Shunsuke Nakamura has declared that he would like for his Celtic Love affair to continue stating that he is happy in his place at the Club and is heartened by the fact that the club want to keep him.

He said "The club have said that they wont let me go even if a team comes along with a big offer, so I think they have faith in me"

We certainly do have faith in you Naka, especially given the balance that our midfield now has in the partnership of Robson and Hartley. This has afforded the mercurial Japanese playmaker the time and space that he requires to allow his cultured left foot and instinctual vision to inflict damage onto opponents. This season could be his biggest in a Celtic jersey!

Yours in Celtic
