COMINGS AND GOINGS

Celtic midfielder Neill Lennon has spoken of his admiration for former Leicester team mate Muzzy Izzet. The blonde midfilder has also said he understands just why Izzet is looking to play on a bigger stage:

"Muzzy is a great player and I completely understand his desire to play on a bigger stage regularly. It's why I came to Celtic and I don't think anyone can complain of Muzzy's desire for a fresh start."

Meanwhile Celtic have allowed young central defender John Convery to join Falkirk. The strapping 6'2'' lad has failed to make the through at Celtic Park and it is thought the experience of first team football at Brockville will hold him in good stead for the rest of his career.

Jackie McNamara has returned to training but realises that his first team return will be blocked by the stunning form of Didier Agathe. The defender has been pretty realistic about his chances:

"Now that Didier is back fully fit and playing so well, it will be difficult to get back into the team. All I can do is work hard and keep doing what I was doing and hope that I can get back in. I am not restricted to one position, so hopefully, that will mean I can win my place back."
