Celts draw Boavista

Celtic have been paired with Portuguese side Boavista in the UEFA Cup Semi-Finals.

Celtic will play the first leg at home, on April 10th, and the return leg, two weeks later on April 24th.

Boavista struggled through to the semi-finals on penalties against Malaga, and are currently mid-table in the Portuguese league.

Their stadium only holds around 15,000 so we will struggle to get tickets, as by UEFA rules they only need to give us 5%. Boavista have a poor support and only managed 8,000 last night. How these teams make it so far in these competitions is beyond me.

The 'V' Theory
The V Theory is that every team Celtic have beaten in the UEFA Cup this season have the letter V in their name: Blackburn Rovers, Celta Vigo, VfB Stuttgart and Liverpool. Boavista also have a V and the final is in Seville!
