Celtic website selling AC Milan tickets for 200 quid

Last updated : 16 February 2007 By Jack Kennedy
A Celtic website has been reported to the office of Fair trading for allowing its members to advertise AC Milan HOME game tickets for £200.

Unofficial website www.thegallowgate.com despite pleas from other sites not to rip off the Celtic support has allowed members to advertise the tickets on its site and has also put the tickets up on ebay for sale to the highest bidder.

It is normal practice that websites only allow members to sell tickets to Fellow supporters at face value and normally the honesty and Integrity of the true Celtic supporters backs this up. The website in question had been asked to stop the advertising of these tickets on its site but the owners of the website replied that "If you dont like it then **** off"

Mr M from Linwood. you have been reported to Celtic. Say goodbye to your profits. Cybertims are everywhere.

The selling of tickets at inflated prices has been discussed long and hard for the past few days and EVERY Celtic website has spoken out against it. Here is the ebay item http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d..._promot_widget

We NEVER say anything about other websites on here but there comes a time when Celtic sites need to stand up and be counted and allowing people to rip off fellow Celtic supporters is wrong and by putting a "buy it now" price of £200 is just not on

www.thegallowgate.com The Celtic family hang their head in shame and you hav brought disgrace to the name of Celtic.

UPDATE.   the website in question has removed the posts and ebay and Celtic are investigating the ticket touting..
