CELTIC TO PLAY IN NEW YORK

Celtic are lining up a game in New York's Giants Stadium that will benefit the families of the victims of the September 11th outrage.

Possible opponents could be AC Milan but as yet no official announcement has been made, though the 18th of May has been pencilled in as a likely date.

A game like this would be the fitting end to a championship season and would also be of great solace to those caught up in the aftermath to Sept 11th.

Meanwhile, Celtic's old firm rivals Rangers have agreed to play in Belfast in July, the middle of the marching season, against Linfield.
