Celtic player sacked?

Charlie Mulgrew has been released by Celtic (according to the Daily Record) allegedly after having a blazing row with manager Strachan while on an away trip to Poland. We have been trying to find out for a while what the reasons were but today the Daily Record announced it was because Strachan fined the players for being Eleven minutes late. We have delved a bit deeper and have found out that Strachan did inded go nuts as he had every right to. Discipline in a team is important and if The senior players can behave then the younger players in the squad can make the effort.

We were told last week that manager Strachan had latched onto the fact that Mulgrew did not have access to cash and decided to double his fine in front of all the other players and asked Mulgrew to pay the fine NOW. Mulgrew either had the choice to tell Strachan in front of the senior players that he had no available cash and not wanting to do this he decided to argue his case and the fine was immediately increased and Mulgrew was again asked to pay it NOW.

Our Source who was present with Celtic on the tour also told us that a senior Celtic player spotted that Mulgrew had no funds on his person and stepped in to pay the fine before things got out of hand and that manager Strachan did not appreciate his offer. Aiden McGeady was also involved in the Fracas but it was only Mulgrew who has been told he will no longer be a Celt says the Daily Record

Was Gordon right to deal with the players the way he did? did he go over the top and Bully a young player he knew was skint? All conjecture at the moment but tell us what you think.
