Celtic Managers Two Match Ban Overturned.

New high levels of permarage were recorder in Glasgow last night. Firstly With the news that the Parkhead region will receive a MASSIVE boost of regeneration as a result of the commonwealth Games and the Celtic manager completely exonerated, record levels of rage were registered.

Glasgow winning this bid will be a massive boost to the Cities economy and closer to home it will be a massive boost for the East End of Glasgow and the Parkhead area in particular. Benefits include the housing of the athletes village in the vacant ground that currently caters the away fans busses to the upgrade of the underground to include a station for Celtic Park.

They wouldn't dare name an underground station "The Celtic Walkway" would they? And they certainly wouldn't perform a compulsory purchase on a certain plot of land on a certain corner of Duke Street next to a really busy junction near the Forge. Would they? Hmm?

Of the news that Mr Strachan was cleared of all charges relating to incidents at Pittodrie and Tyncecastle a Celtic spokesperson said "Celtic is pleased to announce that the Club's appeal has been successful. The original refereeing decision has been overturned and therefore there will be no ban imposed on Gordon.

"Clearly, we are pleased with this decision which we believe is the correct one."

And we all concur. Unfortunately however this really makes a mockery of the system and shows up the holistic approach to inept governance that the SFA excels at!

The result is the correct one and justice has seen to be done but how many committees and months if not years does it take to come to the correct decision and exonerate Strachan?

One can only wonder why Strachan's probable "acting under duress of another parties influence" style defence has only been accepted at the third attempt? The SFA set a monumentally ill-conceived precedent when they reduced Strachan's previous four-match ban. By admitting that the punishment was harsh and the defence was plausible left them in a weak position.

The administration of football in this Country is a joke. Yes they came to the right conclusion in the end, but at what cost?

One waits with baited breath to hear the SFA's comments on this.

Yours in Celtic
