Celtic are reportedly interested in a move for Vitornio Gabriel Antunes. Quotes have appeared this morning suggesting that Celtic covet the young left back currently plying his trade at Roma and have tabled an "interesting" offer.
The appeal of Champions League football will be tempting for Antunes and his agent Amario de Valente admitted the player is weighing up the move.
Da Valente said: "The future of Antunes is very unclear at the moment.
"Other clubs want him but Celtic have made us a very interesting proposal which we are considering.
"We'll be told soon if he is in Roma's plans for next season or if he is to be sent to a team where he will be played regularly.
"We'll know the answer within days."
Interesting! is this just the agent attempting to negotiate more cash from the other teams already in the frame for the player or are celtic really interested?
I think that most Celtic fans will take any left back at the moment, such is the paucity of talent that we have had to suffer in this position in recent years
