Celtic have been plunged into deeper crisis after their failure to sign teenage superstar Anthony Stokes. Stokes has reputedly signed for Charlton in a deal worth two hundred pounds a week and a shot of Alan Pardew's scooter at the weekend. Celtic's failure to match these terms is further proof of a return to the biscuit tin mentality. This comes on top of the failure to sign rock solid defender Andy Webster who has been snatched from under the noses of Celtic by a resurgent Rangers. Rangers are allegedly Celtic for an alleged injury to Webster which they say was caused while Webster was dreaming about playing for the Scottish Champions during training.

Celtic fans showed their disapproval of recent events by boycotting todays drab 4-0 Scottish Cup victory over brave minnows Dumbarton.
Hibs twins, Scott Brown and Kenneth Thomson (his names not really Kevin) will sign for Rangers in a deal worth £50. Hibs have protested but Rangers supremo and leading Businessman Lord Murray has insisted that is all they are getting and the SFA have agreed. Brown and Thomson have been signed from under the noses of Celtic who are in deep crisis.

Celtic fans are understood to be nervous at the prospect of their teams slender 17 point lead at the top of the SPL being eroded by the dynamic saviours of Scottish Football, Walter Smith (68) and Ally McCoist (18 stone).
Meanwhile the SFA are carrying out an investigation into Tommy Burns which could result in the deduction of 17 points from Celtic who are just ahead of an in form Rangers. Burns is thought to have been secretly working for Celtic while employed by the SFA.
