Celtic gives the away support the result they deserve.

What a performance!

90 minutes of full on energy and enthusiasm, brilliant to a man!

Unlike their counterparts on the field, the Celtic supporters yesterday at Pittodrie where unrelenting in their quest for three points, and managed this without receiving any ‘bookings’ for any ungentlemanly conduct. They really were superb, supporting their team for the full 90 minutes, signing FOOTBALL Songs the entire time and audible for the entire match.

It was a Man of the Match Performance by you. We salute you!

Moving onto the match itself, Celtic were always going to struggle against a well organised Aberdeen after our midweek exploits and struggle they did, looking jaded for the most part.

Aberdeen deservedly went ahead and looked as if they might score a second, with Celtic lucky to hear the half time whistle only one down. Celtic galvanised and then managed to do what they have done in every SPL game so far this season, play for the last 30 minutes.

If Donati’s equaliser was a thing of beauty what did that make Millers second? A great finish from a player who is starting to look as if he is on fire at the minute. More of the same please Kenny, you owe us!

This Celtic team is a bit hard to figure out at the moment; they do not look as potent and cohesive as they have done in recent memory, but they are effective and clinical when they have their tails up. They are like an enigma wrapped up in an oxymoron and placed in a paradox but there are signs that once all the individual parts become synchronous they will tick like a well-tuned engine.

Lets hope that is soon!

Now onto the subject of our manager getting ‘sent’ to the stand. I am not going to go into too much depth on this subject but who in their right mind would send away someone who was not involved in an argument in order to diffuse a situation? Leaving the two arguers in their original locations whilst robbing the team of direct input from said manager?

A Scottish Referee, that’s who!

Quick mention to the two 50+ Aberdeen fans who can only dish it out but cant take it. GET A LIFE! There is a Chewing the Fat sketch dedicated to you pair of clowns. Shall we refer to you now as Waldorf and Statler? Grow up.

A great result Celtic, and if you were part of the Match Winning Support, take a bow, give yourself a pat on the back and shake your hand, you are amazing!

Yours in Celtic
