Neil Lennon has backed former Celtic team-mate Henrik Larsson to succeed if he resumes his playing career. The Landskrona manager, who took part in a training session during a visit to Celtic last month, has registered himself as a player again and Lennon joked he might try to sign him.
The Celtic manager said: "I could speak to him but whether he'd come or not is another thing. He trained, he looked great and he was telling me he was doing some one-on-one stuff with a physical trainer with the objective of coming back and playing again so it doesn't surprise me at all. He's 39 and still very, very fit and he's been a world-class player. You never lose that. I'm sure we could see him one day but I'm not too sure in a playing capacity even though from what we saw that day he hadn't lost any of the magic."
