Celtic have announced that Fans can have their names put on a brick "somewhere" around Celtic park. The scheme which many football clubs have will allow you to put your name or a friends onto a red brick for £40.

Celtic fans have for years been making up jokes and stories about the fans over in Govan doing the same thing and feelings are very mixed over the new scheme from Celtic's development office. Here are some of the comments we have heard about the new scheme.

"what a load of nonsense. I am standing here with a red face and want to crawl into a hole. we are at least Ten years behind satans Eleven in doing this and we should have thought of something different. I cant go into work today as I am going to get pelters because I have been slagging off my Rangers supporting mates for years over these bricks" Jack Scott Cumbernauld

"I think Its a great idea. In fact I am going to ask my husband to get me ne for my birthday. £40 to have your name etched in paradise? what a bargain"
Patricia McGilly Castlemilk

Mixed feelings then on the scheme. Celtic are promising that the bricks will remain on show as long as Celtic park remains the home of Celtic Football club. We reckon it would be an idea to get that in writing as further stadium developement MIGHT mean that your brick gets removed or knocked down at some point and Celtic may need to do another one for you..
