It has been revealed today that Artur Boruc will require to go under the knife to rectify a problem with his Knee. Manager Gordon Strachan today confirmed that Boruc would play against Motherwell tomorrow before having the operation on Monday.

He said: "Artur will be going in for an operation on Monday.

"I have no idea how long he will be out for but I am used to it now.

"I have no fears about Mark Brown coming in, he is ready for it."

In other news Scott Brown has bemoaned the fact that Ronaldo got away with having a kick at him during Wednesday nights 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Ronaldo had a kick out, as Brown lay prone on the deck - an action that was clearly visible to the stand-side assistant yet no action was taken on Mr Adam's apple.

Scott Brown clearly believes that Ronaldo's fame and reputation saved him from any action "Maybe it's because it's the Champions League. Maybe it's because it's Manchester United.

"Or maybe it's just because it's Ronaldo we're talking about but I don't think there are many situations in football where a referee would let someone away with something like that.

"Maybe the ref didn't see it too well but his linesman was only a few yards away and must have had a clear view.

"I just don't think there should be one rule for the rest of us and another one for Cristiano Ronaldo."

Brown added: "At the very least he should have been booked and been given a talking too. That's what I would have expected if it had been me."

Yes Scott he should have been booked, or more accurately he probably should have seen red.
