Artur hints at willingness to honour contract

Artur Boruc has made comments regarding his Celtic future. In an article that appeared in yesterday’s late edition of the Daily Retard the Goalie said, and I paraphrase "I am contracted here until 2009 and I see no reason why I wont see out the remainder of my contract".

The Parkhead cult hero also made comments regarding his post match antics at the Deathstar on Saturday. Calling a spade a spade, the number one said, "It was simple. I was just celebrating that we are the champions. I don't see anything weird with this. I'm the champion and I wanted to show that to everybody. If it was Ibrox, sorry." So if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and waves a champions flag like a duck, it is a championees flag waving duck!

Artur’s favourite chip-wrapper, The Scotsman believes that the goalie could be hauled up before the beaks stating that "The Scottish Football Association was yesterday awaiting referee Craig Thomson's report from the game. If the match official makes reference to the incident, the SFA could charge Boruc."

Charge him with what? Flag waving? Would that not mean that the entire squad should be hauled over the coals for their antics during the celebrations at Parkhead the previous week?

Where is the fun in football anymore? The SFA are determined to take the fun out of football, especially the derby day. Surely if this is construed as having the potential to cause a riot then surely the problem is with those whom may be offended? Remember the words of David Edgar of the RST the week before the game in against Osasuna? Something about "a campaign of serious civil disorder"

Still it’s always Artur’s fault!

Yours in Celtic
