Ben Hutchinson Reveals All About His Time at Celtic

Celtic rising star Ben Hutchinson has spoken of his first season in Scotland and about how much he enjoyed Celtic's League victory. "It has been a dream season at Celtic" he told Icons.com.

"It's fantastic that my first season at Celtic has ended with us winning the league. The finish was so dramatic - with it going down to the last day - and the whole of Glasgow was buzzing. As always it's a big deal to get one over on Rangers but to come back the way we did after looking out of the race made it even better."

Hutchinson has also developed a keen sense of the rivalry that exists here in Glasgow, but not before he fired a shot at Rangers excuses for their capitulation, stating that "Rangers had a big build-up of games leading up to that final match and that took its toll but we had pressure on us too. We couldn't afford to slip up at all and we didn't.

A lot of people tell you about the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers, but you can't really understand it until you come up to Glasgow. At any level, a game against Rangers is huge. You just can't lose it. You have no choice. Luckily for me I scored two in my first game against them. It was only a reserve match but it was still a big deal so I was delighted to get the goals. Hopefully it helped endear me to the fans."

Hutchinson also revealed that he has settled well in Glasgow and hopes to break into the first squad. "I haven't regretted my move for a second. I've just moved into my own place in Glasgow. I'm really settled here. Now I'm looking towards next season. My goal is to be involved with the first team for the whole of the season, and hopefully get a lot of football."

Yours in Celtic
