Beattie moving to Hibs? Celtic say no to Riordan quick move

The noises coming from Celtic park this week were all about Craig Beattie being loaned out to Hibs for a season as part of a deal to allow Derek Riordan to move immediately to Celtic instead of waiting till January. Riordan would probably not feature for Hibs in case of Injury and Six months on the sidelines certainly would not do the player or Celtic any favours. Beattie on the other hand is now fully fit and does not seem to feature in Celtics starting eleven at the moment. Celtic refused this week to give us an official statement on the matter ( and yes we did ask more than once ) but we were told by the training staff that Beattie is expected to be training with Celtic next season. However when we asked if training at Celtic meant that he would not be playing for Hibs we were met with a stony "No comment".
