Celtic youth coach Tommy Burms could, already the subject of rumours surrounding the Scotland assistant coach job, could be tempted to return to his old managerial post at Rugby Park.

Burns left Kilmarnock under a bit of a cloud when he joined Celtic back in 1994 and was regarded as a bit of a Judas by the Killie faithful, however, times change and the Ayrshire club may see Burns as the ideal replacement for Hibernian bound Bobby Williamson.

In his time at Kilmarnock Burns had the club running well and only the allure of his first love was strong enough to draw him away from the Manager's chair at Rugby Park. It will be interesting to see if Kilmarnock make a move for the man that they received £100, 000 compensation for when he left for Celtic.

Williamson, affectionately known as Uncle Fester amongst the Celtic fans, is due to sign a long term contract with Hibernian on Monday.
