The Celtic website can confirm that Tony Adams' testimonial match is to be
screened live on Sky Sports 1. There had been fears that an allocation of
5,500 tickets for the 'Battle of Britain' clash would be insufficient to
satisfy demand among the Hoops' travelling support, but the many thousands
who can't make it along to Highbury will now be able to cheer the Bhoys on
from their armchairs.
The programme will start at 7.30 pm on Monday evening, 15 minutes prior to
kick-off.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have re-emphasised that Celtic supporters who haven't
managed to obtain tickets should NOT travel down to London as there will be
none on sale on the day of the match. At the moment, the game appears
certain to be a complete sell-out.
