The teenager is using his comeback from a previous injury lay-off as inspiration ahead of his return. Forrest said: "I was out seven months with my groin. I had an operation as well. That was absolute murder, that was a terrible year. But I got back and showed what I can do so since then and hopefully I can do that with this injury as well. When I came back and played that year after the operation I just felt the same as I had before. I've not had an operation this time so hopefully I can do the same. I started running three or four weeks ago so hopefully now I can kick on if I don't get a reaction. The last three weeks I have been running pain free. I had a wee setback last week but the plan is maybe to train one day last week. I will see what happens." |
