Rangers v Celtic

Saturday 20th November 2004
Ibrox Stadium
Kick Off 12.30pm, Live On Setanta SPL

After last week's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Rangers, Celtic travel to Ibrox tomorrow on league duty, looking for revenge.

Whatever anyone wants to tell you, tomorrow's game is the biggest of the season so far. Forget the CIS Cup, let the huns gloat and boast all they want. Tomorrow's game is far more important.

A few things need to be changed from last week. We were not hungry enough, which played a major factor in our loss. Also, we must challenge Rangers more in the air - they won mostly everything which left us clueless. Alternatively, we should make sure we play the ball on the ground, and punish Rangers by playing football. We must cut out stupid individual errors (are you reading this Alan Thompson?), as we will be punished for this.

No matter what you may hear, Rangers were not great last week. They do not worry me one bit, and failed to do anything special with the amount of possession they had. Everything they done came from Celtic mistakes.

We have a couple of injury concerns ahead of the game. Stan Petrov is still struggling, and it looks like Didier Agathe will miss out. However, we have recieved a massive boost with the return of Chris Sutton. I do not have to tell you just how much an influence this guy has in our side.

Again, the question remains as to who will play between Juninho and McGeady. Juninho got the nod last time, but done nothing worth mentioning. Aiden came on with fifteen minutes of extra time remaining and done well, possibly with a full game he will do the necessary damage. Maybe we'll play both? We'll have to wait and see.

Another question hovers over which goalkeeper will play. David Marshall was the fans' favourite on this week's poll and I believe Martin O'Neill should go with that too.

At the end of the day, we have nothing to worry about. That little weasel Nacho Novo will play, after he had his red card turned into a yellow today. Who cares - We are more than capable with him and his cronies.

Just a reminder, we are still top of the league, and win, lose or draw tomorrow, we will still be top of the league. We shall not be moved.

Come On The Hoops!

Prediction:
Rangers 0-1 Celtic
