Dundee United v Celtic
Bank of Scotland SPL
Saturday 22nd November 2003
Live on Setanta, Kick Off 12.30

It's with great delight that I announce Celtic are playing tomorrow. After the phoney hype and excitement over a 1-0 victory over an unlucky Holland side at Hampden last week, it's good to get away from the realistic shabmles that is Scotland's national side.

A trip to Tannadice is on the agenda for the Bhoys tomorrow afternoon, the ground which gave us the "Martin O'Neill" song, as well as the classic, "You'll Never Sell Ricksen or Flo!" Once again, Celtic fans will vastly outnumber the home support, the Hoops' allocation is sold out.

Tannadice can prove a tricky place to go to, but Celtic have made winning a habit there in the last few years.

Dundee United haven't won in their last four home games, and currently lie thid bottom of the league. In my opinion they are under-achieving, as I tipped them as a top six side at the start of the season.

On the injury front, Celtic are due to welcome back Alan Thompson to first team football. Thommo has been sensational for us this season, and will surely start tomorrow. Sensational is a word I could also use for Liam Miller, whose forced withdrawal from Ireland's midweek squad poved only to be a precaution. Miller should also start tomorrow.

Johan Mjallby continues to attempt to work his way into the first team, but Shaun Maloney will be out for the next couple of weeks.

Albeit for possibly only a few hours, Celtic can go eight points clear at the top of the SPL tomorrow. There's no questioning the amount of pressure this will put on the huns at Ibrox, let's hope there is no doubt of it happening.

Celtic-Mad Prediction: Dundee United 0-3 Celtic
