Celtic v Bayern Munich
UEFA Champions League Matchday 5
Tuesday 25th November 2003
Celtic Park
Live on ITV, kick off 7.45

It's the big one tomorrow night at Parkhead, as German giants Bayern Munich are the visitors for our last Group Stage match in Glasgow.

Celtic were unlucky to leave Germany with no points, back in September, two defensive errors cost us dearly on that night. The Bhoys will be looking to put that night behind them tomorrow night.

Celtic are almost at full strength for the game. It is unknown whether Magnus Hedman will be fit to play, but I am sure Rab Douglas will be waiting in the wings. Douglas worries me in the sense that he is not capable of collecting high crossed balls effectively, and high crossed balls seem to be the only tactic Bayern had in Germany.

Martin O'Neill has a selection headache. John Hartson was rested on Saturday, but Chris Sutton and Henrik Larsson proved that they are one of the greatest partnerships in the UK.  Liam Miller, who had a poor game at the weekend, could see himself dropped, as the force of Larsson, Sutton and Hartson could prove vital against the Germans.

Tomorrow night, Bayern are in a must win situation.  I believe they will come all out attacking, they need the victory.  Our defence will need to be solid, I'm sure Bobo Balde will shine once again, and the whole team will be up for it.

If Celtic win tomorrow night we could witness one of the greatest nights in our history.   Let's hope I'm right.

Celtic-Mad Prediction:  Celtic 2-1 Bayern Munich
