Half time Aberdeen 0 Celtic 1

An end of season meaningless match but both teams seem to be playing to win at sunny Pittodrie. Celtic went ahead in the fifth minute after a McGeady 20 yard shot rebounded off the bar and Hartson was there to head it into the unguarded net. Celtics Paul Lawson has been playing very well so far and has been putting a few very good crosses into the Aberdeen box. Celtics Maloney has been trying to play up to his Player of the year title by trying fancy turns and flicks which have so far have not worked. Aberdeen have been playing reasonably well but have made no serious chances so far. The Celtic support has been their usual noisy selves and John Hartson looks happy to have become Celtics joint top scorer alongside Zurawski who isn't playing today and Hartson will be looking to go further ahead in the second half. David Marshall made a very good save from a Crawford shot in the 41st minute which was Aberdeens only real attempt at goal.
