Fulham 0-2 Celtic

Just returned from a hectic three days in Fulham where building works and grumpy Londeners were not enough to spoil the fun.

The game was a canter; finding the stadium was Celtic's biggest problem of the day. Stuck in between a scheme of tightly packed houses, a mass of Green and White exploded onto Craven Cottage.

The stadium itself looks like something out of Legoland in comparison to Celtic Park, but the new stands look impressive all the same. Our stand, the Stevenage Road End looked like something which would have been around in Willie Malley's days, with wooden floors and ancient seats.

Celtic brought the full squad down, and most of them got a game. A goal in each half secured the victory, John Hartson and Captain for the day, Neil Lennon bagged the goals, Lennon's coming from the penalty spot.

The fans were on top form and in party mood once again. O'Neill's Bar after the game was choc-a-bloc, with no space to move. Many Celtic fans opted on pubs nearby for a quieter pint or two.

It was great to see The Bhoys back in action. Not much has changed from last season but we look as though we'll cope fine with Hartson and Sutton up-front. David Fernandez made an appearance but once again failed to impress. Fulham looked a shambles and are certain relegation candidates for this season. I'm sure that Celtic, however, will be flying the flag once again.
