Celtic 3-0 Dundee

Any doubts that games at Celtic Park will not be as formiddable as most were last season were put to bed yesterday, as Celtic defeated Dundee by three goals to nil. A double from Henri Camara was added to by a John Hartson volley.

Celtic are now six points clear od nearest rivals Aberdeen and Kilmarnock at the top of the league. Rangers, having drawn at Tynecaste today, are a point adrift of them, and lie in fourth place.

There was never going to be an upset in yesterday's game. Dundee, to their credit, played well but the gulp in class was just too much.

Celtic started with Henri Camara and John Hartson up-front, with Juninho supporting. Chris Sutton missed out but the word is that he will be fit for Barcelona's visit on Tuesday.

It was all Celtic in the game, and Henri Camara opened the scoring after 22 minutes after he raced onto a through ball.

John Hartson added to the goal tally on 37 minutes, after previously having a goal chopped-off.

The second half was played at a dull pace, and thankfully, no one was injured.

Camara grabbed his second goal of the afternoon four minutes from time. He has silenced any critics he had previously and it is obvious he will be a fine addition to the squad for the season.

We look in good enough shape to face Barca on Tuesday. Obviously, the addition of Chis Sutton will be a major help, and after watching Barcelona last night, I am confident we can take them. Again.
