Under 21's: Celtic 4-0 Partick Thistle

Celtic's Under 21's replicated yesterday's first team, scoring four goals into their Partick Thistle counterparts, at Excelsior Stadium this afternoon.

First half goals from Jamie Smith and youngster Aiden McGeady put Celtic 2-0 up at half time.

Craig Beattie added his name to the scoresheet, as did Quinn on 89 minutes.

But the game was overshadowed by what looks to be a serious injury to Shaun Maloney. Let's hope he gets fit again as soon as possible.
