Celtic's new goalie would be very happy to see Craig Levein installed as the new manager of Celtic, not least because he'd feel more assured of his place in the squad under a manager who knows how him well.

"It was a really big surprise for me when Gordon Strachan left Celtic," Zaluska said to the Daily Record. "Previously, it didn't seem there was any reason for him going so no one even speculated on the subject. I have to say I was pretty shocked.

"Hopefully the new coach will be happy with the goalkeeping situation and won't feel he has to bring anyone else in." he continued. "Next season the club will have two good goalkeepers in Artur Boruc and me so won't need reinforcements in that position.

"I got on well with Craig Levein and would be pleased if he were to get the job." said the other Polish goalie. "At this stage, though, I don't think any of the players have an idea who the next manager will be. It seems like there are about 20 candidates as every day the papers have a different guy as favourite for the job.

"There's lots of speculation." he concluded. "But we'll just have to wait and see what happens."
