Voting Poll Result

Last updated : 23 July 2004 By Kevin Smith
Thank you to all who voted in last week's poll, which asked What Is Your Favourite Celtic Song? The winner, by a small margin, was You'll Never Walk Alone.

Also known to the Celtic fans as Walk On, times when the song is sung sums up our support. At European nights and Old Firm games, you will see it in all its glory: 60,000 fans with their scarves held high above their heads - it's a sea of green and white and would bring a tear to a glass eye.

The number of voters this week almost doubled. Closely behind Walk On was The Celtic Song, followed by Willie Malley, Fields Of Athenry and Celtic Symphony.

This week's poll asks who you think should be Celtic's resident penalty taker?

In the meantime, I leave you with the lyrics to your choice of favourite Celtic song.

You'll Never Walk Alone by Gerry And The Pacemakers

When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the storm,
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And a sweet silver song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
For your dreams be tossed and blown...

Walk On! Walk On! With hope in your heart,
And You'll Never Walk Alone...

Walk On! Walk On! With hope in your heart,
And You'll Never Walk Alone...

You'll Never Walk Alone.
