UEFA Class Celtic Park as a Five-Star Stadium

The Poor Hordes of Hades have taken a terrible beating in the last few days. After the ‘Kafflick Mafia’ won their bid to improve the East End of Glasgow by winning the Commonwealth Bid and then WGS got completely exonerated from all charges by the SFA the samaritans phonelines have been going crazy.

And then as one glances at UEFA’s website and opens the page referring to the facilities that each competitor can provide the following can be found;

Scottish hospitality
If the bid is successful, Scotland will host the opening match and the final of the tournament, as well as three of the four groups, three quarter-finals and a semi-final. Ireland will host one of the four groups, as well as a quarter-final and a semi-final. The exact stadium details have yet to be confirmed but Glasgow's three UEFA five-star stadiums - Celtic FC's Celtic Park, Rangers FC's Ibrox stadium and Hampden Park - will be used as well as Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium.

So that lays the old "we’ve goat a five star stadium N’ you huvnae" school of thought to rest!

I’m sure they will resurrect the old "Parkhied is made of inferior concrete" line in its place.

Ha Ha
