It is always funny to watch how goalkeepers perform in the next match after a howler. Many are often forgiven for attempting to make routine stops look like wonder saves for the cameras and few would have blamed our favourite Artur if he had followed suit.

Fortunately for Artur, there was no need for showboating or ‘TV saves’ to be employed as Dundee provided shot after testing shot for him to display his full repertoire of Goalkeeping Genius! And fortunately for Celtic we had Artur in fine form to stop all but one of Dundee’s attempts on goal.

The draw for the next round of the CIS cup is to be held this afternoon at 2.30 and the ties are to be played on the 30^th and 31^st of October, which is right in the middle of the double header V Benfica!

With Rangers also in the middle of their own double header against some team from Catalonia I hope that we are paired with them. With both teams in the middle of a tight period it will prove to be a tense affair. Don’t hold your breath however as I’m sure we will get Hearts at Swinecaslte whilst they will probably get Hamilton at Ibrox!
