Ahh the weekend is here again and after what seems like an age since we have been able to watch football that we really, really believe in normal service resumes and the Celts are here!

So what is happening this fine Friday morning in
Timdom?

Well first things first lets get the gratuitous transfer gossip, firstly courtesy of the not right wing in the slightest - bastion of tolerance that is the Daily Mail.

Those cheeky jokesters have us interested in the Belgian leagues supposed hottest property Karel Geraets.

The Standard Liege (remember when they were big in Europe? - No only you do ya old bassa) Midfileder who is reportedly attracting interest south of the border. said, in an obvious dig at countryman Thomas Buffel "I absolutely want to make sure I make the right choice, so I will wait." He continues "My father is the one who is busy with my future, but that doesn't mean I don't know about the interest of Celtic and
others"

Which roughly translated means "I had no idea Celtic were interested but my agent father (sounds like a baddy out of an Austin Powers movie) told me to respond positively to any interest and give nothing away" To which the reporter probably answered "They're not but we have no other stories today"

I would rather we signed a International midfielder with Champions League experience. Watch this space.

Or Favourite striker Kenny Miller has been in the press again, albeit this time he is contradicting the previous two interviews he made where he stated that he was unhappy being on the bench. Rumour has it Big John Clark has to help him onto it as he keeps missing it! To quote someone funnier than me "me moves about the pitch like a binbag blowing about the Motorway"

Kenny's agent stated that "I have no reason to think that will change" and then further stated "Its entirely up to the club. I have no idea what they are thinking (reference to the McDonald signing perchance?) but he is contracted to play and do his best" (interesting choice of words, very diplomatic, even he knows he couldn't score in a Brothel)

Cybertims translation:- Kenny has told that he is to sign and he is attempting to get the fans onside for one last push before he gets sold
The agent continues "Right now he is a Celtic player and he is contracted to the club for three more years. We have no reason to think that will change"

Cybertims translation:- If you want rid of him you better hope someone buys him or you are going to have to buy out his contract!
Best of luck wherever you end up Kenny.

So its off to Dundee in the morning to hopefully pick up three points. United's Barry Robson has stated that he is out for revenge after Celtic had the cheek to come back from two down at Paradise last year to draw two all.
How dare United only get a point from a trip to fortress Parkhead!
I predict the fashionable result against United, I.e. 2-1 to Celtic with United scoring first!

Have a good weekend all!

May your god go with you

Yours in Celtic
