The SFA have annonced that they will be taking no further action against Neil Lennon following his little contretemps with the Aberdeen support on Monday night. Drew Herbertson, head of referees and discipline, commented:

"There has been no update regarding Neil Lennon. "You can take it as read that we will not be developing it."

"The referee's report has not yet been received, but we've spoken to the referee and are satisfied with what has happened that is the end of the matter."
Meanwhile the little Irish midfielder has been insisting that winning the title again would be even better than last year as it would  prove Celtic's true character as champions. He said:

"It means a lot for me to be at this club anyway, but I wanted to come here to try and win things."

"Winning the SPL for a second time could be even sweeter than it was last season. The honeymoon period is over now and everyone can see that we have maintained our form."
