"We had a poor start with Rangers having the lion's share of the possession and we couldn't get the ball off them but after we conceded a soft goal we controlled the game from then on.
"We got ourselves a deserved equaliser and then went in front, but then we were 3-2 down which was surreal, but we fought back and we were pushing at the end to win the game, but it never came.
"They were obviously poor goals from our point of view when I thought we were in charge of the game, but it was an excellent advert for Scotland and I'm sure the people who tuned in down south were pleased with what they saw."
