Tony Mowbray has stated that he is looking forward to the upcoming games against Arsenal in the Champions League, commenting that although the task at hand is a difficult one, if the team and the supporters are united then Celtic may have a better chance of progression than many people would afford them.

The manager also feels that you cannot fail to be thrilled at the prospect of playing last season's semi finalists who are arguably one of the best footballing teams in the world.

"You have to be excited about playing against one of the best teams in the world and I don't think that's too great an accolade," the manager told the View.

"The fact that they are in the top four in the Premier League ranks them as one of the best teams in the world and whenever Arsenal are in possession of the ball the opposition know that they are in for a very tough football game."

"That will be the case and the supporters have to understand the quality of player we are playing against on Tuesday night.

"For our part, we have to be very disciplined and organised and understand that when we have the ball we have to try and give them some problems.

"The supporters have a huge part to play on Tuesday, we are not going to be overly cavalier or constantly surging forward, otherwise we will leave ourselves vulnerable to some of the best players in the world, but we will try and get a result and then make life very difficult for them at the Emirates.

"We go into the game believing that if we get it right tactically over the two games and play as well as we can, we can make a real fist of trying to get through to the group stages.

"Arsenal will fancy their chances as well, but that's the beauty of football and we will go forward in this competition believing in ourselves."

Yours in Celtic
