MONDAY MORNING SNIPPETS

HENRIK LARSSON - Could lose out on another Sweden cap as he struggles to fight off a dose of Tonsilitis. The Celtic hit man was laid low on Saturday with the illness and it looks unlikely that he will travel to play for his country on Wednesday.

TOM BOYD - Could be on his way to Dundee Utd, but only if he is not wanted at Celtic Park. The veteran defender is hoping to sit down soon with Martin O'neill to discuss his future:

"I've got options but I'll need to have a chat with the manager and see what his thoughts are.

"I hope I play against Rangers, though, as it would be a great way to bow out.

"My Old Firm debut was at Ibrox 10 years ago and we won 2-0.

"I feel as though I could still do a job, although whether that's still with Celtic is a different kettle of fish.

"I've yet to finalise what I will do, whether it's staying here or not, but playing regularly will come into it."

It is also thought that Livingstone and Motherwell are also interested in signing Boyd should he leave Parkhead at the end of the season.
