Fortune-Teller on N'Guemo, Goal Scoring Targets and Dinamo Tie.

It would appear that since Gary Caldwell has decided to stall on the extension offer that new Bhoy Marc Antoine Fortune is the team spokesman on all things Celtic. You cannot open the paper these days without our new striker commenting on some aspect of the Scottish game.

In today's comments Fortune has taken time out of his busy schedule to sing the praises of Loan Bhoy Landry N'Guemo. I have to admit that I haven't seen a lot of the player, but what I have saw is mirrored in the comments by the new spokesman.

"Landry is strong, has good technique and reads the game well. He's going to be a good signing for Celtic.

"I've spoken to him and he wants to show that he's capable of playing in a team like ours.

"Landry will win the ball back from the other side and then make good passes for the strikers.

"He reminds me very much of Diarra because neither is a big man but both are physically strong while being technically good at the same time.

"I can't play the game for him. I can only tell you what he's like. I've played with him before and we've always had a good match."

Fortune's attention was then turned to his new life at Celtic as he strives to strike a relationship with his new team mates ahead of the start of the season.

"I feel settled here already. When we travelled to Australia soon after I signed I had time on my hands to get to know my new team-mates.

"We were stuck together for 24 hours on a plane or in airport lounges. That's long enough to get to know everyone. But my initial reaction to being at Celtic was favourable. The players are all good guys and they've been really nice with me.

"Now I'm trying to find out everything about the club, the fans and Glasgow."

Fortune has also felt that his new club has lived up to all his expecations.

"It has been more than I expected," the 28-year-old said.

"I heard about Celtic and their fans, the way they treat the players and the facilities and I have been impressed.

"But I have had no time to see Glasgow.

"We went to Australia right away and we are away again so maybe after that I can see the place."

Finally Marc turned his attention to the impending tie against Dinamo Moscow and the inevitable question from the Scottish press in relation to what personal targets he will be setting himself for the season in terms of goals.

"I am a striker so of course I have a target but I keep that to myself," he said.

"The first target is to give my best and help the team to play well and win games and after that it's about my target.

"We are ready and impatient to play this game (Dinamo Moscow).

"We have been waiting for this since the beginning of pre-season and everybody wants to play in it.

"I am still looking at my team mates but all the players are good players.

"We have top players who are used to playing in the Champions League so I don't think there are any problems."

Yours in Celtic
