Foreign Imports find it hard to cope

Former Rangers defender Lorenzo Amoruso believes some foreign imports are simply not cut out for the Old Firm.
The Italian went on to captain Rangers after being signed by Walter Smith in 1997 and, while other foreign players such as Dane Brian Laudrup and Croatian Dado Prso have become huge favourites at Ibrox, the club's most recent imports have struggled to make an impact, Sebo for example :-)

Amoruso believes some players badly underestimate the pressures of playing for the Old Firm and said: "There are players who are ready to step forward to these conditions but there are others who don't have the right character to play for such an important team and be under pressure basically every day. That's a big difference."
He added: "The football is so demanding now, 10 years ago it was much different, the managers, fans expect to see you doing your job all the time".

This wouldnt include Henrik Larsson, Wee Lubo or the likes of JVoH though, so maybe there is something in the water over Govan way? or is this just another excuse for the poor show offered by Rangers in recent years?

What is does highlight is that players who think playing in the SPL is a stroll may just get the shock of their lives and any players of both Celtic and Rangers are always under pressure to perform, a 100% performance is always expected, every single game.
