Clyde v Celtic
Tennents Scottish Cup Third Round
Sunday 8th January 2006
Broadwood Stadium
Kick Off 1pm, Live On Sky Sports

Last season, at the fourth round stage of the Scottish Cup, Celtic travelled to Clyde at Broadwood. Tickets were easy to come by and there were many spares outside the ground that day. With this in mind, the Celtic ticket office had originally planned to sell tomorrow's tickets on a first come, first served basis.

But Roy Keane's signing in December sparked a ticket frenzy for the game, as it was the first opportunity Keane would have to make his Celtic debut. The ticket office changed the game to ticket offers only in the wake of this.

So what we have here is a tiny ground in Broadwood, where Celtic will get allocated two out of the three stands there. People who couldn't be arsed making the trip last season, or turning up at many other 'wee games' this season are taking up the tickets of those who were there last year, and do go to all games. All of this simply because Roy Keane will make his debut.

It is not a fair scenario, but unfortunatley, there are many glory-hunters out there who don't deserve tickets for tomorrow's game, but will be there. Personally, I hope Roy Keane isn't in even in the squad tomorrow, for this season.

Last week's win ay Hearts showed everythign you would want from a Celtic side. We had courage, spirit, fight and heart. It was a victory by a team who want to win the title, and I believe we can only throw it away now.

We are also chasing a domestic treble, and we have to overcome Clyde tomorrow to take another step towards all three trophies this season.

It'll be interesting to see who plays tomorrow. Roy Keane will make his first appearance in midfield and it is possible he will take the place of the injured Stan Petrov and this will be the only change.

On paper, the game should be won comfortably by Celtic. However, we know all about cup upsets and I reckon a full strength side should be fielded, with a few youngsters on the bench.

A performance like last year's visit to Clyde will do nicely, thanks.

Enjoy the game.
