Celtic fans are being escorted to the San Siro under a heavy handed police escort and are reacting angrily to the treatment. There has been absolutely no trouble in Milan and fans were in good humour.

The Italian police however have been herding fans into groups and walking them to the stadium. Problems have arisen when a fan stops or slows down for a second and The Police have been drawing their Batons and using them to push fans along.

Phone calls and text messages have been coming into our office saying that a large group of fans got angry when an elderly fan tried to stop for a rest and was pushed back into the crowd of walking fans by over zealous police The supporter was trying to explain to the police that he had a heart condition and needed to rest but was forced to keep moving. Celtic fans are reacting angrily to the treatment and it looks as if the Italian police are intent on treating the supporters badly.
