Boruc Signs

After weeks of speculation regarding his future, goalkeeper Artur Boruc has signed a contract with Celtic, which will keep him at the club until 2009. Celtic also have the option to keep him for another year on top of that.

For a while, it looked as though Boruc and his agent were playing games with the club. Rumours were circulating that Arsenal and Fulham were interested in signing the goalkeeper, so today's news is a great boost for all at Celtic.

Despite being only a quarter of the season gone, Boruc is looking like one of the best goalkeepers we have had in a long time. Today's signing is great news for all Celtic supporters, and with the problems we have had with goalkeepers in the past, it's about time we got a decent player between the sticks.
