Boruc Jibes Continue Ahead of Northern Ireland versus Poland.

First it was Dundee United Striker Warren Feeney who started the entire melee by insisting that the Windsor Park support "Get under the skin of Boruc". This is, of course, a relatively benign comment to make until it is qualified by the preceding sentence of "We need to turn Windsor Park into a mini-Ibrox for the day." I think we all know what that means.

Now I have never been to Windsor Park, but does it not resemble a very large Ibrox all the time?

Next to be trotted out in the acceptable hate-fest that playing against Boruc has become is none other than Rangers' 19 year old striker Andrew Little, who has been included in the squad at the last minute.

"A few people have been joking with me about coming on against Poland and scoring against Boruc," he said. "That would be great, but I'm trying not to think about that. I'm just aiming to do well in training, and if it gets me a shot, then great.

"If I happen to get on for five or 10 minutes, depending on how the game is going, it would be a huge bonus for me"

"It would be absolutely amazing and it would certainly be the biggest moment of my career so far."

So the question is why is playing against Artur Boruc such a big deal for those in the press? Is it because he is playing against Northern Ireland? Would there be such a line of players hoping that one of their team mate's score against him were Scotland to be playing Poland?

I think we all know the answer to that question
