Bolton has confirmed their interest in Celtic defender Bobo Balde. Manager Gary Megson, speaking in today’s Bolton news said "We have been talking to Celtic about trying to come up with a fee where we can talk to Bobo," he said. "But we're not there just yet."
It would appear that Bolton values the player around the 1M mark and it seems that Celtic are holding out for more. This can be a gamble but with the amount of money available in the premiership added to the desperation for Bolton to shore up their defence could see us netting upwards of 2-3M for the Guinean.
The very fact that we are attempting to maximise our return on the player is a welcome change from the bad old days.
