Amoruso, 30 in July, was released from his contract at Borrusia Dortmund after a fall-out with the club. He has had an injury plagued season, playing only four games but still managing to bag four goals.
Amoruso has been invited to have a look at Celtic's setup, while he, himself will be looked at by the Celtic coaching staff.
He certainly looks the part, and his record shows that. He finihsed top goalscorer in Germany's Bundesliga two seasons ago.
However, his off the field antics at Dortmund suggest he may be another Mark Viduka.
