A Plea

This is a plea for all Celtic supporters, to boycott the Daily Record.

For years now, this excuse of tabloid newspaper has been carrying an anti-Celtic agenda. From comparisons between Saddam Hussein to Fergus McCann, following the team to a night out in Newcastle, the whole 'Thugs And Thieves' carry on, and now a 'Celtic In Crisis' headline after two pre-season friendly defeats, they clearly have got it in for Celtic.

Please ask yourself this, why do you buy it? Do you enjoy reading the dribble that comes from Jim Traynor's laptop? Are you inspired by Tam Cowan's unfunny and boring weekly article? Does their TV pull-out and crossword rise above their counterparts'?

Every time you buy the 32p piece of garbage, or click on their website, you are putting money into the pockets of corporate scumbags who have nothing but hatred for Celtic Football Club.

A pat on the back to fellow Bhoys who have been boycotting this rag for a while now - keep it up.

It is about time Celtic, as a club, took a stand against the Record. Why bother to entertain them at Celtic Park, as they are a waste of a seat. I believe their advertising boards which line the Parkhead turf are controlled by the SPL, so there is nothing we can do about that.

Do not be fooled by their arse-licking Celtic pull-outs and specials. If you see a fellow Celtic supporter reading or buying it, ask them why? It is about time we got together and put this company out of business.

United we stand.
